This thesis deals with surfaces and their topological characteristics. The most part describes the basic concepts and theorems of topology (continuity, compactness, conectedness) and graph theory (graph, tree, spanning tree), which are important for understanding the issue. Abstract:
Táto bakalárska práca sa zaoberá plochami a ich topologickými vlastnosťami. Z veľkej časti sú popísané základné pojmy a vety z topológie (spojitosť, kompaktnosť, súvislosť) a teórie grafov (graf, strom, kostra), ktoré sú dôležité pre pochopenie danej problematiky. Ďalšia kapitola sa venuje plochám a ich klasifikácii, pričom hlavným zámerom práce je dôkaz klasifikačnej vety pre sféru.
