Profitability of the company in the conditions of the Czech Republic and another state

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce je identifikace faktorů ovlivňující rentabilitu vlastního kapitálu vloženého do podniků lokalizovaných v zemích Visegrádské čtyřky. Sledovaným obdobím je rozmezí let 2009–2018. ¬¬Nezávisle proměnné jsou hodnoceny na základě vlivu na závisle proměnnou ROE. V případě České republiky byly jako statisticky významné identifikovány celkem 4 faktory, konkrétně pak podniky s 50–249 zaměstnanci, podniky s 250 a více zaměstnanci, nově založené podniky a inflace. Ve výsledných modelech zbylých zemí V4 pak byly identifkovány faktory odlišné a specifické pro dané státy. Často vyskytujícími se faktory v těchto modelech byly faktory zastupující podniky různé velikosti či inflace.

Abstract:

The aim of the diploma thesis is to identify the factors influencing the return on equity invested in companies located in the V4 countries. The reference period is the period 2009–2018. Independent variables are evaluated based on the effect on the ROE dependent variable. In the case of the Czech Republic were identified 4 factors as statistically significant, namely companies with 50–249 employees, companies with 250 or more employees, new established companies and inflation. In the resulting models of the remaining V4 countries were included macroeconomic and corporate factors. Frequent factors in these models were factors representing companies of different sizes or inflation.
