The Opinion of Junior Police Officers on the Service and Professional Training Ap-proach

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce na téma Názor začínajících policistů na způsob služební a odborné přípravy se zabývá stále aktuální problematikou, jejíž řešení zajišťuje teoretickou i praktickou připravenost policistů k výkonu služby. Jde o práci svým charakterem teoreticko-empirickou. V teoretické části práce jsou objasněny otázky přijímacího řízení k Policii České republiky a pracovní orientace a adaptace policistů. V empirické části práce jsou prezentovány výsledky empirického šetření, které bylo zaměřeno na názory začínajících policistů zařazených u Služby pořádkové policie Krajského ředitelství policie Jihomoravského kraje na absolvovanou Základní odbornou přípravu. Zjištěné výsledky jsou posléze diskutovány a taktéž jsou předestřeny návrhy pro pedagogickou praxi.

Abstract:

The bachelor´s degree thesis on the topic “The Opinion of Junior Police Officers on the Service and Professional Training Approach“ concerns the ever current issue, the solution of which ensures the theoretical and practical readiness of police of-ficers to perform their duties. The thesis is of theoretical and empirical nature. The theoretical part of the thesis clarifies questions concerning the admission procedure to the Police of the Czech Republic and the working orientation and adaptation of the policemen. The empirical part of the thesis presents the results of an empirical survey focused on the opinions of junior police officers assigned to the Riot Police Unit at the Regional Headquarters of the South Moravian Region Police referring to the completed basic professional training. The results that were identified are subsequently discussed and proposals for the teaching prac-tice are outlined.
