Abstract:

V bakalářské práci zkoumáme způsoby trávení volného času dětí a žáků se sluchovým postižením. V teoretické části je vypracována analýza dostupných zdrojů, která je zaměřena na sluchové postižení, druhy sluchového postižení, komunikaci osob se sluchovým postižením, zařazení dětí se sluchovým postižením dle typu základních škol a trávení volného času dětí v mladším i starším školním věku. V praktické části je provedena analýza sebraných dat. Zaměřena především na to, jakým způsobem tráví děti se sluchovým postižením volný čas, konkrétně zda upřednostňují individuální, nebo skupinové aktivity. Také nás zajímá stupeň postižení, a zda má na volnočasové aktivity vliv. Věnujeme se i pocitové spokojenosti rodičů dětí se sluchovým postižením s nabídkou volnočasových aktivit v okolí bydliště. A v neposlední řadě zkoumáme, zda typ základní školy, kterou děti a žáci navštěvují, má na výběr (nabídku) mimoškolních aktivit vliv. Cílem bakalářské práce je zjistit, jakým způsobem tráví děti a žáci se sluchovým postižením volný čas, zejména zda preferují individuální, nebo skupinové aktivity a zda stupeň postižení ovlivňuje jejich volbu. v tomto ohledu. Naším záměrem je také zjistit, jestli kompenzační pomůcka kvalitativně ovlivňuje trávení volného času.

Abstract:

In this thesis, we examine how children and school children with hearing loss spend their free time. Available resources are analysed in the theoretical section, which examines hearing loss, its types, communication abilities of people with hearing loss, division of children with hearing loss based on elementary schools types, and how young school children (6 - 11 years of age) and older school children (11 - 15 years old) spend their free time. The practical section analyses the collected data. It focuses on how children with hearing loss spend their free time and whether they prefer individual or group activities. We are also interested in the degree of hearing loss and whether it impacts free time activities. Furthermore, we look into the level of parental satisfaction with the choice of free time activities for children with hearing loss in their residential area. Lastly, we examine whether the type of the elementary school that children attend impacts the choice (offer) of extracurricular school activities. This thesis aims to find out how children and school children with hearing loss spend their free time, if they prefer individual or group activities, and whether the degree of hearing loss impacts their choice of activities. We also intend to find out whether a compensatory hearing aid has a qualitative impact on how children with hearing loss spend their free time.
