Usage of anglicisms in German and Slovak film titles.

Abstract:

My bachelor´s research paper concerns with the use of anglicisms in different film titles, ger-man?slovak comparison. The paper is divided into a theoretical part and a practical one. In the theoretical part I specify some important terms such as anglicism, internationalism, neologism. The paper also informs the reader of the categories of anglicisms, their adaptation to german and slovak languages, it informs of the history of anglicisms in Germany and in Slovakia and of their using in these countries. All terms are being defined in technical literature. In the practical part of my paper I show the presence of anglicisms in 150 the most topical film titles in years 2009, 2010 and 2011 using concrete examples.

Abstract:

Ve své bakalařské práci se zabývam použitím anglicismu ve filmových titulech, německo-slovenské srovnání. Má práce je rozdělená na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části vymezuji duležité pojmy jako anglicismus, internationalismus, neologismus atd. V práci se dále zabývam kategoriemi anglicismu, jejích adaptací na německý a slovenský jazyk, dějinami a postavením anglicismu v Německu a na Slovensku. Všechny pojmy jsou definovány v odborné literature. V praktické části poukazujem na konkrétních příkladech na výskyt anglicismu v 150 nejaktuálnejších filmových titulech v rocích 2009, 2010 a 2011.
