Financial and Non-financial Indicators in the Assessment of Business

Abstract:

V současné době je hodnocení výkonnosti podniku nedílnou součástí každé firmy, nebo by alespoň mělo být. Mohou díky tomu analyzovat minulost a předpovídat budoucnost, což jim může pomoci v budoucích rozhodnutích. Diplomová práce se zabývá finančními a nefinančními ukazateli v hodnocení podniku. Popisuje ukazatele z teoretického hlediska a poté je analyzuje na konkrétní firmě. Finanční okolí se neustále mění, z toho důvodu je dobré používání i nových finančních a také nefinančních ukazatelů. Práce se zpočátku zabývá klasickou finanční analýzou, bankrotními a bonitními modely. Poté jsou popsány modernější metody hodnocení podniku jako ekonomická a tržní přidaná hodnota. Nakonec představuje nefinanční ukazatele EFQM Excellent Model a Balanced Scorecard. Praktická část již analyzuje firmu Chako Trans s.r.o. Snaží se nastínit dopady využití Balanced Scorecard a poté analyzuje firmu z pohledu vybraných finančních ukazatelů. Poslední část obsahuje doporučení pro budoucí léta.

Abstract:

Nowadays the business productivity evaluation is an inseparable component of every company or at least it should be. Thanks to that, the companies can analyse the past and predict the future which can help them in future decisions. The diploma thesis deals with the financial and non-financial indicators in business evaluation. It describes the indicators from the theoretical point of view and later analyses them in a specific company. The financial surroundings constantly change and therefore it is good to use new financial and non-financial indicators. At the beginning, the thesis deals with classical financial analysis, bankruptcy and solvency predictions. Later the modern methods for business evaluation as the economic value added and the market value added are described. At last it presents the non-financial indicator - EFQM Excellent Model a Balanced Scorecard. The practical part analyses the company Chako Trans s. r. o. It tries to outline the impact of Balanced Scorecard utilisation and later it analyses the company from the point of view of selected financial indicators. The last part contains the recommendations for the future.
