Tato bakalářská diplomová práce se zaobírá motivem determinizmu, jeho charakteristikou, významem, úlohou a dopadem na vývoj děje a chování postav ve vybraných románech amerického postmoderního literárního autora 20. století, Kurta Vonneguta.
