Work Stress in the bank and its management

Abstract:

RÝZKOVÁ, Zuzana: Dealing with stress of work at the bank (Thesis) / Zuzana Rýzková. – Banking Institute. University of Prague. Bank Management. - Head thesis: Prof. Ján Čech PhD., Trnava. In the project " Dealing with stress of work at the bank" we present the theme of stress. In theoretical part the author defines stress, it´s influence on the people, the burn-out syndrome and the emotions, which are the inseparable part of stress. The object of the examination was to investigate the influence of stress on the employees on the different positions. The aim of the author was to dedicate how surveillance is neccesary to prevent stress-situations. The author supposes that the chairmans /the managers, leading-workers/ are exposed to much more stress like the workers in lowers positions /the clerks/. She supposes that stress is known as a positive impulse to do the job more effective, but also as an impulse that has a some negative influence for the private life. The first aim was to find out what to affect the employees at work and induce stress. The second aim was to analyse how the employee can get stress under control, how are the convenient conditions in the work at the bank, if exists something for the elimination of the intensity of stress and how are the expectations of the employee from the employer. In the practical part the author evaluates by the quantitative method of questionary the influence of stress and the satisfaction with their jobs of 50 respondents of the various job titles. On the basis of the evaluation of questionary the author finds out that every people have to manage with stress at work. For the elimination of stress are important the adequate conditions at work. The author also finds out that the employer doesn´t satisfy the anticipations of their employees.

RÝZKOVÁ, Zuzana: Stres v práci v banke a jeho zvládanie. (Bakalárska práca) / Zuzana Rýzková. – Bankovní institut Vysoká škola Praha. Bankovní Management. – Vedúci práce: Prof. Ján Čech PhD., Trnava. V bakalárskej práci stres v práci v banke a jeho zvládanie sme sa venovali téme stresu. V teoretickej časti sa autorka venuje definícii stresu, vplyvu stresu na človeka, syndrómu vyhorenia a emóciám, ako neoddeliteľnou súčasťou stresu. Predmetom prieskumu bolo skúmanie vplyvu stresu na zamestnancov na jednotlivých pozíciách. Cieľom autorky bolo zistiť, aké opatrenia sú potrebné na predchádzanie stresových situácií. Autorka predpokladá, že pracovníci na vedúcich pozíciách sú vystavení oveľa väčšiemu stresu ako zamestnanci na nižšej pracovnej pozícii. Predpokladá, že stres je vnímaný ako pozitívny stimul na zefektívnenie práce, ale aj ako podnet, ktorý negatívne ovplyvňuje súkromný život. Prvým cieľom bolo zistiť, čo ovplyvňuje zamestnancov pri práci a spôsobuje stres. Druhým cieľom bolo analyzovať, ako môže zamestnanec zvládnuť stres, aké sú vhodné podmienky pri práci v banke, čím sa dá eliminovať intenzita stresu a aké očakávania má zamestnanec od zamestnávateľa. V praktickej časti kvantitatívnom metódou formou dotazníka vyhodnotila vplyv stresu a spokojnosť so zamestnaním 50-tych náhodne vybratých respondentov v rozdielnom pracovnom zaradení. Na základe vyhodnotenia dotazníka autorka zistila, že stresom v práci je ovplyvnený každý zamestnaný človek, pre eliminovanie stresu sú dôležité vhodné podmienky pri práci a že zamestnávateľ nespĺňa očakávania svojich zamestnancov.
