The projection of Near Eastern myths into the Old and New Testaments Canon
Abstract:
Práce je založena na vyhledání a porovnání podobných motivů v Bibli a v Předovýchodních mýtech. Součástí je i obšírný historický exkurs, zasazující komparaci do dobového prostředí. Cílem bylo poukázat na možnou větší starobylost biblických témat.
Abstract:
Work is based on searching for and comparing similar motives in the Bible and Near Eastern myths. Part of it is thorough historical introduction, placing the comparation into contemporary background. The objective was to pinpoint possible even greater antiquity of biblical themes.
