Abstract:
The thesis deals with the media representation of unemployment in two ideologically different newspapers – a left-wing Právo and a right-wing Mladá fronta Dnes. The main objective of the thesis is to reveal whether newspapers create two different media representations of the unemployment phenomenon based on their political orientation and to discover editorial strategies used by the newspapers.
