Practical Route Planning Algorithms
Abstract:
This thesis is devoted to static route planning. It contains an overview and characteristics of existing methods that deal with this type of planning. It gives a detailed description of Highway hierarchies technique, which was also the subject of the practical part. The effectiveness of the implemented technique was experimentally tested. The results are presented in the final part of the work.
Abstract:
Táto práca sa venuje statickému plánovaniu ciest. Obsahuje prehľad a charakteristiku súčasných metód zaoberajúcich sa týmto typom plánovania. Podrobnejšie popisuje techniku Highway hierarchies, ktorá bola zároveň predmetom praktickej časti. Efektivita implementovanej techniky bola experimentálne otestovaná. Výsledky sú zaznamenané v záverečnej časti práce.
