Moral Problems in the Literary Production of Karolina Světlá and Božena Benešová

Abstract:

Diplomová práce s názvem Mravní problematika v tvorbě Karoliny Světlé a Boženy Benešové pojednává o mravní problematice a jejím vývoji v díle obou autorek. Zaměřuje se také na souvislost mravní a ženské problematiky a mravní problematiky a tematiky oběti, která je u obou autorek velmi významná. Práce je rozdělena do tří hlavních kapitol s názvy Dnešní stav poznání díla Karoliny Světlé a Boženy Benešové, Vývoj mravní problematiky v literární tvorbě Karoliny Světlé a Vývoj mravní problematiky v literární tvorbě Boženy Benešové a několika dalších podkapitol. Diplomová práce si klade za cíl představit osobnost a dílo obou autorek právě z hlediska mravní problematiky, postihnout vývoj této problematiky v tvorbě obou autorek a podrobně ji analyzovat v konkrétních dvou románech. K rozboru byl vybrán Vesnický román Karoliny Světlé a Člověk Boženy Benešové a jejich rozbor je zaměřen především na kompozici obou románů a charakteristiku postav. Práce se věnuje také recepci díla obou autorek, zejména potom dvěma analyzovaným románům.

Abstract:

Diploma thesis Moral Problems In The Literary Production Of Karolina Světlá And Božena Benešová deals with the topic of moral problems and its development in the literary production of both authors. This work is also focused on the connection between moral problems and female themes and the connection between moral problems and self-sacrifice themes which is very important theme in the literary work of both authors. This work is divided to three main chapters named The contemporary know edge of the literary production of Karolina Světlá and Božena Benešová, The development of the moral problems in the literary production of Karolina Světlá and The development of the moral problems in the literary production of Božena Benešová and several more chapters. This work tries to introduce the personality and the literary work of both authors in a context of moral problems, describe the development of this theme in the production of both authors and exhaustively analyze this theme on the two concrete novels. A Village Novel by Karolina Světlá and The Man by Božena Benešová were chosen for the analysis which is focused on the composition and characters of both novels. This work also deals with the reception of their literary production especially the reception of the two analyzed novels.
