Financial statements as a basis for evaluating the business activities of Vinselekt Michlovský, JSC

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na zhodnocení ekonomické situace společnosti Vinselekt Michlovský, a.s. prostřednictvím finanční analýzy, kdy jsou zdrojem této analýzy zejména účetní výkazy dané společnosti. Hodnocení podnikatelské činnosti je provedeno za období let 2015 až 2019. V první části bakalářské práce jsou popsány základní charakteristiky účetních výkazů a jejich spojitosti. V následující části jsou rozebrány vybrané metody finanční analýzy. Třetí část se zabývá stručnou historií a představením společnosti. Čtvrtá část je část empirická, ve které jsou aplikovány jednotlivé metody finanční analýzy na společnost Vinselekt Michlovský, a. s. Poslední část se zabývá shrnutím zjištěných výsledků finanční analýzy, kdy na základě těchto výsledků bylo zjištěno, že společnost v letech 2015 až 2018 vykazovala stabilní charakter, v posledním roce ovšem nastal propad velké části finančních ukazatelů, což značí možné problémy v dalším hospodaření společnosti.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is focused on the evaluation of the economic situation of the company Vinselekt Michlovský, JSC. through financial analysis, where the sources of this analysis are mainly the financial statements of the company. The evaluation of business activity is performed for the period from 2015 to 2019. The first part of the bachelor's thesis describes the basic characteristics of financial statements and their continuity. The following section discusses selected methods of financial analysis. In the third part, the company is briefly characterized, where this description contains a brief history and introduction of the company. The fourth part is the empirical part, in which the methods of financial analysis are applied to the company Vinselekt Michlovský, JSC. The last part of the bachelor thesis deals with summarizing the results of financial analysis. Based on these results it was found that in 2015 to 2018 the company showed a stable character, but the last year indicates possible problems in the further management of the company.
