The aim of this thesis is to analyze the novel Det mest förbjudna by a Swedish writer Kerstin Thorvall. This thesis elaborates on the process of identity shaping and the way the identity of the main protagonist Anna is influenced and limited by both the strict upbringing and the patriarchal social environment. Cílem této práce je analyzovat román Det mest förbjudna švédské autorky Kerstin Thorvall. Práce rozpracovává téma vytváření identity a stejně tak způsob, jakým je identita hlavní hrdinky románu Anny omezována přísnou výchovou a patriarchální společností.
