Personal involvement of educators in children's homes when working with children

Abstract:

Magisterská diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou osobní angažovanosti vychovatelů v dětských domovech. Cílem práce je zjistit, jak vychovatelé vnímání osobní angažovanost ve své profesi. K naplnění tohoto cíle je použit koncept angažovanost, který ji identifikuje ve třech oblastech – energie, pracovního zaujetí a pocitu vlastní výkonnosti. K tomuto konceptu je přidán pohled na vztah vychovatele k dětem. Teoretická část práce sestává ze dvou hlavních kapitol. První kapitola se věnuje dětským domovům, jejich cílové skupině a profesi vychovatele. Druhá kapitola teoretické části se dělí na dva úseky, v prvním se zaměřuji na koncept angažovanosti a jeho vybrané modely. Následující úsek se týká oblasti vztahového rámce osobní angažovanosti, kde se nejprve zabývám vztahem obecně a poté vztahem jako součástí pomáhajících profesí ve spojitosti s angažovaností V rámci empirické části práce byl realizován kvalitativní výzkum, který má podobu polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s deseti informanty.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of the personal engagement. The aim of the study is to determine how educators perceive personal engagement in their profession. To meet this goal is used a concept of engagement which identifies three areas - energy, job involvement and self-efficacy. There is added a perspective of the educator's relationship towards the children to the concept of the personal engagement. The theoretical part consists of two main chapters. The first chapter is devoted to children's homes, its target group and profession of an educator. The second chapter is divided into two sections, the first part focuses on the concept of engagement and its models. The following section deals with the relevance of relationship in the field of personal engagement. This part pays attention to relationships in general and the relationship as part of the helping professions in connection with the engagement. In the empirical part of the work there was conducted a qualitative research that takes the form of semi-structured interviews with ten informants.
