Interaction of white - rot fungi with selected bacterial strains

Abstract:

Dřevokazné houby neboli houby bílé hniloby jsou známé svou schopností degradovat různé organopolutanty, například syntetická barviva. Degradační kapacita hub je spojována s aktivitami enzymů, které tyto houby produkují. V posledních letech je pozornost zaměřena na studium interspecifických interakcí a ovlivnění degradační schopnosti hub právě těmito interakcemi. Tato práce prezentuje poznatky získané studiem interakcí na pevných médiích a interakcí v tekutých médiích s pevným a následné ovlivnění schopnosti rozkládat barviva právě těmito interakcemi. Byly studovány houbové kmeny Irpex lacteus, Pleurotus ostreatus a Dichomitus squalens a bakteriální kmeny Serratia marcescens, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Citrobacter koseri, Corynebacterium glutamicum, Rhodococcus erythropolis, Bacillus subtilis a Escherichia coli na agarových plotnách a kmeny Irpex lacteus a Serratia marcescens imobilizovány na pevném substrátu. Z výsledků vyplývá, že organismy mezi sebou mohou koexistovat, a že jsou dokonce schopny částečné dekolorizace barviva RBBR a DB3.

Abstract:

The white ? rot fungi are known for their ability to degrade different organopollutants for example synthetic dyes. The degradation capacity of these fungi is usually correlated with enzyme activity of these fungi. Many recent studies are focused on study of interspecific interactions during the degradation processes. This work presents the results of experiment at the agar plates and in solid ? state conditions and interspecific interactions during the degradation. The fungi Irpex lacteus, Pleurotus ostreatus and Dichomitus squalens and bacterial strains Serratia marcescens, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Citrobacter koseri, Corynebacterium glutamicum, Rhodococcus erythropolis, Bacillus subtilis and Escherichia coliwere used at agar plates and Irpex lacteus and Serratia marcescens were used at solid ? state conditions. We can say that the organisms can co ? exist and they are partly able to degrade the synthetic dye RBBR and DB3.
