Předmětem této práce je zjistit jakých nejčastějších výslovnostních chyb v angličtině se čeští studenti středních škol dopouští. Tyto chyby jsou následně analyzovány. Nejčastější výslovnostní chyby však nemusí být nejzásadnější a nejvýznamnější. Nejzásadnější jsou ty, které mohou vést k nedorozumění a tudíž k selhání komunikace.
