Possibilities of Air Pressure Cost Saving in Production Machines Using Pneumatic Mechanisms

Abstract:

Tato práce obsahuje odbornou rešerši teorie stlačeného vzduchu a popis základních pneumatických komponent. Praktická část se zabývá řešením reálné aplikace, návrhem pneumatického obvodu a výběrem válce dle katalogu. Dále jsou pomocí softwaru Model selection vybrány zbylé prvky a vyhodnoceny základní charakteristiky systému. V této práci je poté optimalizován pneumatický obvod s využitím rekuperace stlačeného vzduchu. Hlavním přínosem je srovnání jednotlivých řešení při rozdílném dimenzování prvků v konkrétní aplikaci a jejich vliv na spotřebu stlačeného vzduchu.

Abstract:

This thesis contains specialized research of compressed air theory and description of basic pneumatic components. The practical part deals with the solution of real application, the suggestion of pneumatic circuit and selection of cylinder according to catalogue. Furthermore, the remaining components are selected by using the Model selection software and basic system characteristics evaluated. Then, the pneumatic circuit is optimized using recuperated air. The main benefit is the comparison of single solutions with different dimensioning of components in a particular application and their effect on the consumption of compressed air.
