Prince Svätopluk in Slovak historiography
Abstract:
This thesis analyses the image and importance of Prince Svätopluk in Slovak historiography. In the course of the examination, the theoretical concept of the symbolic centre by philosopher Miloš Havelka is used. The main area of research thus consists of Slovak historiography starting approximately from the 18th century up to the present day.
Abstract:
Táto diplomová práca analyzuje podobu a význam kniežaťa Svätopluka v slovenskej historiografii. V rámci skúmania je využitý teoretický koncept symbolického centra pochádzajúci od filozofa Miloša Havelku. Hlavnou oblasťou výskumu je tak slovenské dejepisectvo zhruba od 18. storočia do súčasnosti.
