Plasma-chemical creation of multicomponent thin structured layers with ultrahydrophobic properties

Abstract:

Tato práce je zaměřena na vytváření tenkých ultrahydrofobních strukturovaných vrstev za použití technologií plazmové tužky a nově vyvinutých plazmových systémů štěrbinových trysek a zkoumá vliv depozičních parametrů na jejich utváření. Pro tento účel byly aplikovány organické sloučeniny, nanosloučeniny, fluorované uhlovodíky, organokřemičitany a prekurzor tetrabutoxy titanu. V teoretické části této práce je popsán princip generování plazmatu pomocí plazmových trysek a je přiblížena problematika vzniku vrstev s hydrofobními vlastnostmi. V experimentální části je uveden souhrn experimentálních dat včetně vyhodnocení stupně hydrofobity, příp. mechanické odolnosti vytvořených vrstev apod., dále jsou zde definovány pracovní podmínky, které mají zásadní vliv na realizaci tenkých ultrahydrofobních strukturovaných vrstev a zároveň při této příležitosti byla testována i odezva dané vrstvy na olej. U vybraných typů vrstev s ultrahydrofobními vlastnostmi byla zkoumána jejich mikro-/ nano-struktura na rastrovacím elektronovém mikroskopu. Dále je zde popsána aparatura, použité chemické sloučeniny a problematika převedení prekurzoru na aerosol.

Abstract:

The thesis is focused on creating thin ultrahydrophobic structured layers using a plasma pencil technology and newly developed plasma systems of slotted nozzles and examines the influence of deposition parameters on their formation. For this purpose were applied organic compounds, nanocompounds, fluorocarbons, organosilicates and precursor of tetrabutoxy titanium. In the theoretical part of this thesis describes the principle of generating plasma using the plasma jets and an idea of the formation of layers with hydrophobic properties. In the experimental section provides a summary of experimental data including the assessment of the degree of hydrophobicity, resp. mechanical resistances created layers, etc., there are also defined the working conditions that have a major influence on the realization of thin ultrahydrophobic structured layers and also on this occasion was also tested the resistance to oil on these layers. For selected types of layers with ultrahydrophobic properties was examined micro / nano-structure of the scanning electron microscope. Furthermore, there are described apparatus, chemical compounds used and the problems of converting the precursor to aerosol.
