Cílem práce je popsat moderní metody zajišťující perzistenci dat v Javě a J2EE aplikací využitelné při psaní menších, ale i rozsáhlých aplikací. Popsány jsou metody serializace objektů, použití relačních a objektových databází. Práce je zaměřena zejména na objektově-relační mapování. The aim of this thesis is to describe recent methods for data persistence in Java programming language and J2EE platform, applicable to both small and large applications. The method of Java serialization and using of relational and object databases are described. The work is aimed to use of object-relational mapping.
