Cílem této bakalářské práce je představit svobodu ze dvou hledisek. První skrze myšlenky Benjamina Constanta a jeho práci The Liberty of Ancients as Compared With That of Moderns. Druhé hledisko je skrze Isaiaha Berlina a jeho text Čtyři eseje o svobodě. V textu jsou porovnávány koncepty pozitivní a negativní svobody, jakož i antické a moderní pojetí svobody. Abstract:
The aim of this thesis is to introduce freedom from two points of view. First through the thoughts of Benjamin Constant and his work The Liberty of Ancients as Compared With That of Moderns. The second point is of Isaiah Berlin and his text Four Essays on Freedom. The concepts of positive and negative freedom, as well as an ancient and modern concept of freedom are compared in the text.
