Teaching the fundamentals of toponomastics and realias in Liberec region in the Grade 5th of Primary school

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá rozvojem komunikativních dovedností žáků a historií názvů obcí v Libereckém kraji prostřednictvím projektové výuky. Cílem práce je vytvoření projektu pro žáky pátého ročníku ZŠ a didaktického materiálu pro učitele. Teoretická část vymezuje pojmy jako projektová výuka, rámcový vzdělávací program a uvádí aktivizující metody využité v průběhu projektu. Součástí teoretické části jsou také vybrané informace z oborů, kterých se realizovaný cíl přímo dotýká. Jedná se o základy heraldiky, toponomastiky a informace o Libereckém kraji. Praktická část se zabývá návrhem a realizací projektu, který seznamuje žáky s původem názvů obcí v Libereckém kraji a rozvíjí komunikační dovednosti. V závěru práce se nachází vyhodnocení úspěšnosti projektu, které bylo zjišťováno pomocí testů před projektem a po jeho skončení.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the development of communication skills of the pupils and the history of town and village names in the Liberec region through project-based learning. The aim is to create a project for the fifth grade of primary school pupils and teaching materials for teachers. The theoretical part defines terms such as project based learning, RVP and provides activating methods used during the project. The theoretical part also selected information from the fields, which are implemented directly affects the goal. These are the basics of heraldry, toponomastics and information about the Liberec district. The practical part deals with the design and implementation of the project, which introduces students to the origin of local names in the Liberec region and develops communication skills. The conclusion of this thesis evaluates the success of the project, which was examined using tests before the project and after its completion.
