Sustainable development of tourism in the South Moravian Region

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou udržitelného rozvoje cestovního ruchu v Jihomoravském kraji. Cílem práce je zanalyzovat a zhodnotit současný stav udržitelného cestovního ruchu v Jihomoravském kraji a navrhnout doporučení do budoucna. Teoretická část práce je věnována vymezení pojmů udržitelný rozvoj a udržitelný cestovní ruch a také definuje pilíře, principy a indikátory udržitelného rozvoje. V praktické části práce je nejprve provedena charakteristika Jihomoravského kraje s důrazem na infrastrukturu cestovního ruchu, jeho organizaci a vývoj v minulých letech. Dále jsou analyzovány nejrozšířenější formy udržitelného cestovního ruchu a definovány indikátory udržitelného rozvoje a indikátory udržitelného rozvoje cestovního ruchu. Podstatnou částí práce je dotazníkové šetření mezi návštěvníky Jihomoravského kraje, jeho rezidenty, mezi podnikateli v oblasti cestovního ruchu působícími na území Jihomoravského kraje a zástupci Kraje. Poté je provedena SWOT analýza následovaná vyslovením doporučení do budoucna.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with an issue of sustainable development of tourism in the South Moravian Region. The aim of the thesis is to analyze and evaluate the current state of sustainable tourism in the South Moravian Region and to suggest recommendations for the future development. The theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to the definition of terms sustainable development and sustainable development of tourism and also defines the pillars, principles and indicators of sustainable development. The practical part of the thesis characterizes the South Moravian Region with an emphasis on the tourism infrastructure, organization of tourism and its development in the past years. Furthermore, the most widespread forms of sustainable tourism are analyzed and the indicators of sustainable development and sustainable development of tourism are defined. Essential part of the thesis is a questionnaire survey among visitors of the South Moravian Region, its residents, entrepreneurs in the sector of tourism operating in the South Moravian Region and also representatives of the Region. Then a SWOT analysis is formulated and is followed by the recommendations for the future development.
