Tato bakalářská práce popisuje vznik pomníků císaře Josefa II., které se začaly objevovat po celém Předlitavsku po vydání Stremayrových jazykových nařízení v roce 1880. Němečtí obyvatelé se obávali ztráty výsadního postavení v českých zemích a tak na tato nařízení reagovali právě vznikem pomníků Josefa II., protože v jeho osobě spatřovali germanizátora a centralistu. Abstract:
This bachelor thesis describes the origins of the monuments of Emperor Joseph II which began to appear around Cisleithania in 1880 after publishing the Stremayr´s language regulations. Germans were afraid of losing their privileged position in Bohemian lands, thus these monuments represented their reaction towards the regulations.
