Age discrimination on Czech labor market

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce, která zkoumá věkovou diskriminaci na pracovním trhu České republiky, je propojit teoretické poznatky z této oblasti s praxí. První kapitola se soustředí na obecné definování diskriminace a s ní související pojmy. Druhá kapitola popisuje aktuální situaci na trhu práce v České republice. Dále jsou zde uvedeny konkrétní příklady věkové diskriminace v každé věkové skupině a doporučení, jak takové diskriminaci čelit. Práce je zpracována metodikou komparativní analýzy.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis, which describes age discrimination on the labor market in the Czech Republic, is to connect theoretical knowledge of Czech labor market with practice. The first chapter is focused on the discrimination generally. The second chapter describes the current situation in the Czech Republic in relation with the age discrimination. Moreover, there are examples of the discrimination in each age category specified in detail. Further along the thesis gives recommendations how to prevent discrimination from limiting equal job opportunities. The work is processed by the methodology of comparative analysis.
