Comparison of the production and forage quality grassland after the renewal of commercial and regional seed mixtures in the White Carpathians

Abstract:

Cílem práce Srovnání produkce a kvality píce travních porostů po obnově komerční a regionální směsí osiv v Bílých Karpatech je porovnat kvalitu, výnosy a druhovou diverzitu u tří porostů: neobnovené louky, obnoveného porostu komerční směsí a obnoveného porostu regionální směsí. Teoretická část se věnuje charakteristice porostů v Bílých Karpatech a také rozebírá základy v oblasti výživy zvířat a hodnocení jednotlivých živin. Výzkumná část se soustředila především na porovnání ročních výnosů suché píce a základních živin obsažených v píci. Výsledky ukázaly, že nejvyššího ročního výnosu sušiny 9,21 t.ha-1 dosáhl porost obnovený komerční směsí. I v případě obsahu dusíkatých látek, celkové vlákniny a ostatních frakcí vlákniny NDF, ADF měl obnovený porost nejvyšší hodnoty. Neobnovená louka se svými výnosy i obsahy živin přibližovala obnovenému porostu. Porost obnovený regionální směsí ve většině ukazatelů zaostával za ostatními porosty, v důsledku absence hnojení a nadměrné expanzi sveřepu vzpřímeného.

Abstract:

The aim of the work Comparison of the production and forage quality grassland after the renewal of commercial and regional seed mixtures in the White Carpathians is to compare the quality, yields and species diversity of three stands: non-renewed meadow, renewed commercial mixture grassland and grassland renewed using autochtonous seed mixture. The theoretical part deals with the characteristics of the grasslands in the White Carpathians and also discusses the basics in the area of animal nutrition and evaluation of individual nutrients. The research part is mainly focused on the comparison of annual yields of dry matter and basic nutrients contained in the grassland forage. The results showed that the highest annual yield of dry matter 9.21 t.ha-1 was achieved by grassland renewed using autochtonous seed mixture. Even in the case of crude protein, crude fibre and other fibre fractions of NDF, ADF content, the renewed grassland had the highest value. The non-renewed meadow brought its results closer to the restored grassland. The regional mixture-restored grassland lagged behind the other grasslands in most indicators, due to late mowing and excessive expansion of Bromus erectus.
