Regulation of collective and investment opportunities for small investors in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá kolektivním investováním, jakým způsobem kolektivní investování funguje zejména v České republice, potažmo jaké jsou možnosti kolektivního investování pro drobného investora. V bakalářské práci jsou definovány orgány regulace a jejich funkce v systému kolektivního investování a je zde konkrétně představena role České národní banky a její ocenění. Práce se rovněž věnuje historickému vývoji kolektivního investování, s důrazem na kupónovou privatizaci a harvardské fondy, které měly zásadní vliv na současnou regulaci a důvěru drobných investorů v investiční společnosti a investování. Práce se dotýká hlavních investičních hrozeb jako jsou deflace a inflace, objasňuje jejich vliv na kolektivní investování a uvádí zásadní výhody kolektivního investování. V praktické části práce jsou analyzovány konkrétní fondy a doporučení pro drobné investory, plynoucí z této analýzy. Bakalářská práce potvrzuje výhody kolektivního investování a poskytuje komplexní pohled na kolektivní investování jeho význam v České republice. V závěrečné části bakalářská práce odpovídá na hlavní otázku jaké plynou z kolektivního investování výhody pro drobného investora.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis deals with collective investing, how collective investing works especially in the Czech Republic, what are thúe possibilities of collective investing for a small investor. The bachelor's thesis defines regulatory bodies and their functions in the system of collective investment, and the role of the Czech National Bank and valuation are specifically presented here. The work is also devoted to the historical development of collective investing, with an emphasis on coupon privatization and the Harvard funds, which had a major impact on the current regulation and confidence of small investors in investment companies and investing.The work touches on the main investment threats such as deflation and inflation, clarifies their influence on collective investing and presents the fundamental advantages of collective investing. In the practical part of the work, specific funds and recommendations for small investors resulting from this analysis are analyzed. The bachelor's thesis confirms the advantages of collective investing and provides a comprehensive view of collective investing and its importance in the Czech Republic. In the final part, the bachelor's thesis answers the main question of what benefits for a small investor derive from collective investing.
