Evaluation of the enterprise calculated by using free cash flow method

Abstract:

Vybrané téma diplomové práce nese název Ocenění podniku pomocí metody volných peněžních toků. Hodnocení výkonnosti podniku zaujímá hlavní úlohu při komplexním stanovení hodnoty zkoumané společnosti. V teoreticko-metodologické části je rozebrána základní charakteristika problematiky oceňování podniku. Dále jsou v práci zmíněny obecné postupy, které jsou nezbytné pro ocenění vybrané společnosti a jednotlivé metody oceňování. Zvláště je kladen důraz na výnosové metody, konkrétně na metodu diskontu cash flow (DCF). Aplikační část obsahuje samotný postup a výslednou hodnotu ocenění vybrané společnosti Pražských služeb, a.s. Jedná se o zpracování strategické analýzy, stanovení finančního plánu pomocí generátorů hodnoty a nakonec ocenění vybraného podniku zvolenými metodami volných peněžních toků. V závěrečném shrnutí je uveden souhrn získaných poznatků z provedeného ocenění podniku a okomentování závěrů, ke kterým se během diplomové práce došlo.

Abstract:

The selected topic of the thesis is Evaluation of the enterprise calculated by using free cash flow method. Performance of enterprises has a major role in determining the value of a company. The theoretical and methodological section discusses the basic characteristics of business valuation issues. The thesis also discusses general procedures that are necessary for the valuation of a particular company and the various valuation methods. In particular, emphasis is placed on the yield method, namely the method of discounted cash flow (DCF). Application of the procedure in itself has progress, and so the results of evaluation on the selected company Prague Services, Inc. It is a process of strategic analysis, and financial planning, which is comprised by the value of generators and selecting firm valuation methods chosen in free cash flow. The conclusion is a summary of lessons learned from the business valuation and commentary on the conclusions which arose from the study in this thesis.
