Abstract:

Bakalářská práce pojednává o využívání emoční inteligence sociálních pracovníků při práci s klienty. Teoretická část práce charakterizuje pojmy jako jsou emoce, emoční inteligence, sociální inteligence. Mnou popsané téma bakalářské práce by mělo přinést společnosti a sociálním pracovníkům orientaci v prostředí emoční inteligence a její využití při práci s klienty. Problematika tématu spočívá v nepopsání v české literatuře vztahující se k sociální práci. Nedostatečné povědomí může vyvolávat neprofesionální přístup a nesebere flektivní nevědomé negativní vlivy na jednání s klientem. Cílem výzkumu je tedy prozkoumat, jak sociální pracovníci využívají emoční inteligenci ve své praxi. Výzkum se věnuje neprozkoumané oblasti týkající se sociální práce. K zjištění výzkumných dat jsem využila přístup tematické analýzy, tedy vyhledání klíčových pojmů týkajících se stanovisek a postojů zkoumaných osob k emoční inteligenci. Výzkumem bylo zjištěno, že sociální pracovníci účastni na výzkumu se shodli v kritériích potřebných pro vykonávání své profese a sice v aktivním naslouchání, profesionálního a individuálního přístupu, empatie, nastavování hranic, emocí, seberozvoje a psychohygieny.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the use of emotional intelligence of social workers when working with clients. The theoretical part of the thesis characterizes concepts such as emotions, emotional intelligence, social intelligence. The topic of the bachelor thesis described by me should give the society and social workers an orientation in the environment of emotional intelligence and its use in working with clients. The problem of the topic lies in the lack of description in the Czech literature related to social work. Lack of awareness may induce an unprofessional approach and does not take away the selective unconscious negative influences on dealing with the client. The aim of the research is therefore to explore how social workers use emotional intelligence in their practice. The research explores an unexplored area relating to social work. I have used a thematic analysis approach to identify the research data, i.e. searching for key concepts relating to the research subjects' opinions and attitudes towards emotional intelligence. The research found that social workers participating in the research agreed on the criteria needed to practice their profession namely active listening, professional and individual approach, empathy, boundary setting, emotion, self-development and psychohygiene.
