Poetistic Prose of Jiří Mářánek Utrpení pětihranného Boba

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na analýzu vybraných motivů a tematických a jazykových prvků v poetistické próze Jiřího Mařánka s názvem Utrpení pětihranného Boba (1926). Analyzované motivy a tematické a jazykové prvky byly zvoleny pro jejich charakteristické sepětí s tvorbou poetistů. Práce nejprve představuje život a literární tvorbu Jiřího Mařánka, dále charakterizuje umělecký směr poetismus včetně zaměření na jeho vývoj a typické rysy. Následující teoretické kapitoly se věnují problematice vybraných motivů a prvků. Hlavní částí práce je interpretační analýza zmíněného díla se zaměřením na fantastické motivy, motivy exotismu a cestování, motivy lásky a ženy, groteskno a jazykovou komiku. Závěrečná kapitola poté shrnuje poznatky vzešlé z analýzy a sumarizuje autorovu práci se zmíněnými motivy a prvky.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis focuses on the analysis of selected motifs and thematic and linguistic elements in Jiří Mařánek’s poetistic prose entitled Utrpení pětihranného Boba (1926). The analyzed motifs and thematic and linguistic elements were chosen for their characteristic connection with the works of poetistic authors. The thesis first presents the life and literary works of Jiří Mařánek, then characterizes the art movement poetism, including a focus on its development and typical features. The following theoretical chapters deal with the problematic of selected motifs and elements. The main part of this work is an interpretative analysis of the mentioned work with a focus on fantastic motifs, motifs of exoticism and travelling, motifs of love and women, grotesque and language comic. The final chapter then summarizes the findings from the analysis and summarizes the author’s work with the mentioned motifs and elements.
