Children's Glaucoma - Results of pharmacological and surgical treatment

Abstract:

Diplomová práce s názvem Dětský glaukom – výsledky farmakologické a chirurgické léčby se skládá ze dvou částí. První teoretická část se zabývá anatomií, embryologií a fyziologií oka, která souvisí s glaukomem. Zahrnuje informace o klasifikaci dětských glaukomů, typů glaukomů a jejich příznaků, diagnostice a v neposlední řadě i léčbě. Druhá praktická část se zabývá zhodnocením účinnosti celkové léčby a progresí primárního kongenitálního glaukomu, primárního infantilního glaukomu a primárního juvenilního glaukomu.

Abstract:

The thesis titled Children's Glaucoma - Results of pharmacological and surgical treatment consists of two parts. The first, theoretical part looks into the anatomy, embryology and physiology of the eye, which is associated with glaucoma. Includes information of classification of children's glaucoma, types and its symptoms, diagnosis and last but not least it's treatment. The second part looks into the practical evaluation of the effectiveness of the overall treatment and progression of primary congenital glaucoma, primary infantile glaucoma and primary juvenile glaucoma.
