Enterprise inventory management in the context of disrupted supply chains

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá řízením zásob podniku v kontextu narušených dodavatelských řetězců. Hlavním cílem je navrhnout opatření, které by minimalizovalo negativní dopady narušených dodavatelských řetězců. Práce popisuje současný stav řízení zásob, postavení podniku vůči narušeným dodavatelským řetězcům, navrhuje možné alternativní přístupy a hodnotí potenciál optimalizačních modelů. Na základě poznatků z praktické části byly navrhnuty doporučení pro zlepšení odolnosti řízení zásob vůči neočekávaným výkyvům v rámci dodavatelského řetězce.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the inventory management of a company in the context of disrupted supply chains. The main objective is to propose measures that would minimize the negative impacts of disrupted supply chains. The thesis describes the current state of inventory management, the position of the company in relation to disrupted supply chains, suggests possible alternative approaches and evaluates the potential of optimization models. Based on the findings from the practical section, recommendations for improving the resilience of inventory management to unexpected supply chain disruptions are proposed.
