Determination of selected taxation characteristics of forest stands using mobile phone application

Abstract:

Tato práce je zaměřena na využití mobilních aplikací v lesnictví. Cílem této prácebylo ověření použitelnosti tří různých aplikací (Moti, Bitterlich a Re_Scope) pro sběrněkterých základních taxačních veličin. Testované mobilní aplikace jsou určeny převážněna zjišťování výčetní kruhové základny na ha, aplikaci Moti lze také využít na měřenívýšek stromů a zjištění počtu stromů na ha. Měření taxačních veličin vybranýmiaplikacemi a klasickým způsobem pro srovnání probíhalo na revírech Olšovec aJindřichov, které spadají do LHC Hranice na Moravě. Při sběru dat byly zvlášť měřenyporosty jehličnaté a listnaté, které byly dále rozděleny dle věku do 90 a nad 90 let.Analýza dat byla zpracována formou párových t-testů, Wilcoxonova testu a pomocíjednofaktorové ANOVY. Bylo zjištěno, že pro měření výšek stromů aplikace Moti nenízcela použitelná, z hlediska zjištění počtu stromů na hektar ovšem použitelná je. U výčetníkruhové základny na hektar bylo dosaženo výsledků, které za prakticky použitelnéuvádějí aplikace Moti a Bitterlich, aplikace Re_Scope byla z praktického hlediskavyhodnocena jako pro praxi nepoužitelná.

Abstract:

This work is focused on the use of mobile forestry applications. The aim of thiswork was to verify the applicability of three different applications (Moti, Bitterlich andRe_Scope) for the collection of some basic mensurational characteristics. The testedmobile applications are mainly intended for the detection of stand basal area per ha, theapplication of Moti can also be used to measure tree heights and the number of trees perha. Measurement of mensurational characteristics by selected application and classicalway of comparison took place on the grounds of Olšovec and Jindřichov, which belongto the Forest district Hranice na Moravě. In the data collection, coniferous and deciduousstands were measured separately, which were further divided by age up to 90 and over 90years. Data analysis was performed in the form of paired t-tests, Wilcoxon test and onewayANOVA. It has been found that MOTI is not fully applicable to measuring theheights of trees, but it is applicable to find out the number of trees per ha. For the standbasal area per ha, results were obtained, which are practically applicable for Moti andBitterlich applications.
