Bakalářská práce se zabývá možným využitím metodiky Výměnného obrázkového komunikačního systému u dětí s poruchami autistického spektra. Teoretická část práce je zaměřena na charakteristiku, etiologii a diagnostiku autismu. Dále popisuje jednotlivé pervazivní vývojové poruchy a triádu postižení u osob s autismem.
