Nutritional status in celiac disease

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je rozdělená do dvou základních částí: Teoretická část se zabývá charakteristikou onemocnění, jejím vznikem, příčinami a komplikacemi. Dále jsou zde popsány současné možnosti léčby a také nové poznatky z oblasti léčby celiakie. Praktická část obsahuje vypracovanou kazuistiku pacientky s celiakií a analýzu jejího třítýdenního jídelníčku. Cílem bylo zjistit obsah lepku ve stravě, vzhledem k tomu, že u pacientky přetrvávají pozitivní protilátky i přes dodržování diety. Výsledek vedl k určení další možnosti léčby.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis is divided into two main parts: The theoretical part deals with the characteristics of the disease, its origin, causes and complications. Described here is a treatment option and new knowledge in the field of treatment of celiac disease. The practical part includes a case study of patients with celiac disease and analysis of her three-week diet. The aim was to determine amount of gluten in the diet, due to the continuing positive antibodies despite adherence to the gluten-free diet. Results led to the further determination of treatment options.
