Diplomová práce se zabývá možnou existencí vztahu mezi politickým cyklem a růstem ekonomiky České republiky v letech 1995 - 2006. Růst ekonomiky je analyzován vývojem hrubého domácího produktu a politický cyklus je zachycen prostřednictvím státního rozpočtu. In my thesis I am dealing with possible relation between political cycle and economic growth in the Czech Republic under period 1995 - 2006. Economic growth has been analysed by development of GDP and political cycle has been viewed through state budget.
