Bakalářská práce se zabývá vývojem českého pojistného trhu, součástí práce je stručná historie pojišťovnictví, porovnání vývoje životního a neživotního pojištění na celém pojistném trhu i v rámci vybraných jednotlivých pojišťovacích ústavů, popis základních ukazatelů úrovně pojistného trhu.
