Diplomová práce se zabývá otázkou demokratizace v jihovýchodní Asii. Klade si za cíl určit faktory, které ovlivňují demokratizační procesy, a pomocí jejich aplikace na případy Thajska, Filipín a Malajsie hodnotí, zda je možné využít demokratizační teorie k vysvětlení současných procesů a proměn režimů v rámci regionu. Abstract:
The thesis aims to examine the issue of democratization in Southeast Asia. Its goal is to determine the factors, that affect the process of democratization, and use them for a multiple-case study involving Thailand, Philippines and Malaysia.
