Principles of opera in musicals
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce se zabývá podobnostmi opery a muzikálu. V teoretické části jsou popsány jevištní formy, ze kterých opera a muzikál vznikly. Detailně je potom popsán vývoj a výrazové prostředky opery a muzikálu. Poznatky z teoretické části jsou v praktické části využity k analýze částí ze čtyř vybraných muzikálu, ve kterých jsou hledány podobnosti s operními principy. Mezi analyzované muzikály patří …more

The bachelor thesis focuses on similarities between opera and musical. The theoretical part describes the stage forms from which opera and musical originated. The development and expressive means of opera and musical are utilized in the practical part for the analysis of parts from four selected musicals, in which similarities with operatic principles are sought.
