príklady patria obrázky, hudobné nahrávky alebo videá. Na rozdiel od dát štruktúrovaných sa vyhľadávanie v neštruktúrovaných dátach zriedka vykonáva na základe absolútnej zhody. Most data collections created in the Big Data era are unstructured, examples include images, music recordings, or videos.
