Abstract:
This thesis analyses two novels written by Ali Smith, The Accidental and Hotel World. The introduction deals with the author herself, her life, work and the responses of critics to her novels. Ali Smith does not belong among the renowned authors in the Czech literary scene. Only her novel Hotel World was translated into Czech as Hotel Svět.
