The Prose Work of Zakhar Prilepin

Abstract:

This diploma thesis is focused on the prosaic work of one of the current Russian writers Zakhar Prilepin. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and analytical one. The theoretical part is dedicated to a general characteristic of the Russian prose at the turn of the 20th and 21st century and writer's biography. The analytical part deals with an analysis of the novel "Black Monkey" and its status in a context of the entire Zakhar Prilepin's work. The analysis of the novel "Black Monkey" is focused on the characteristic of characters, the significance of time and space, and the poetic language in which is the novel written.

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na představení prozaické tvorby současného ruského spisovatele Zachara Prilepina. Součástí předkládané práce je teoretická a analytická část. Teoretická část je věnována obecné charakteristice ruské prózy na přelomu 20. a 21. století a biografii autora, analytická část se zabývá rozborem románu "Černá opice" a jeho postavením v kontextu další prozaické tvorby Zachara Prilepina. Rozbor románu "Černá opice" je zaměřen na charakteristiku postav, význam času a prostoru v díle a na poetiku jazyka, jímž je román napsán.
