Bank loans and their consolidation

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce popisuje český bankovní systém, líčí jednotlivé typy úvěrů a seznamuje s procesem poskytování úvěrů. Upozorňuje na důležitost hodnocení bonity klienta, jako jednoho z mnoha způsobů předcházení úvěrovému riziku a popisuje vznik a důsledky finanční krize z roku 2008. Rizikům, kterým je bankovnictví vystaveno nejčastěji, je věnována 3. kapitola. Zde je kromě jejich řízení představena i bankovní regulace a dohled, prováděný Českou národní bankou. Práce upozorňuje na současný nárůst problémů klientů se splácením úvěrů a pojednává o nečestných praktikách některých oddlužovacích společností. Výsledkem této práce je analýza současného stavu zadlužení českých domácností, představení systému budování finanční gramotnosti a vlastní průzkum veřejného mínění o finančních produktech. Jako řešení předlužení je zde představen produkt konsolidace úvěrů, jehož efektivnost ve snižování měsíční splátky je prokázána na dvou příkladech.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis describes the Czech banking system, various types of loans and introduces the process of lending. The importance of the client's credit rating is one of many ways to prevent credit risks: this is noted in the following chapter. In this chapter I describe the rise of the financial crisis of 2008. In the third chapter I evolve upon the threats and risks to which banking is exposed to the most; we discus risk prevention, risk management, banking regulation and supervision which is conducted by the Czech National Bank. The thesis draws attention to the present increase of client problems with repayment and highlights the dishonest practices of companies, which offers discharge of debts. The result of this work deals with the current state of indebtedness of Czech households, the performance of financial literacy, and survey of personal opinion in relation to financial products. Consolidation of loans as a solution of indebtedness is introduced in Chapter 5, as well as it’s effectiveness in decreasing monthly payment; this being demonstrated in two examples.
