Impact of migration on crime in the Czech Republic
Abstract:
Tato bakalářská práce využívá panelová data ke zjištění vztahu mezi mírou imigrace a mírou majetkových trestných činů v ČR v letech 2005 až 2011. Navzdory veřejnému mínění výsledky odhadu modelu metodou "fixed effect" ukazují negativní vliv imigrace na míru kriminality, respektive, že přibývající počet imigrantů v obyvatelstvu snižuje počet zločinů na jednoho obyvatele. Abstract:
This bachelor thesis uses panel data to reveal the relationship between the rate of immigration and the rate of property crimes in the Czech Republic between the years of 2005 and 2011.
