Práca v úvodnej časti špecifikuje technické normy a hardvér používaný pri tvorbe Wi-Fi sietí, komunikáciu v bezdrôtovej sieti, ako aj možné bezpečnostné hrozby a opatrenia na zabezpečenie ochrany Wi-Fi siete.
