The influence of tourism on the socio-cultural environment in a selected destination

Abstract:

Tématem bakalářské práce je "Vliv cestovního ruchu na sociokulturní prostředí ve vybrané destinace." Cílem této bakalářské práce je identifikace nejdůležitějších sociálních, etnických, kulturních a ekonomických dopadů cestovního ruchu na hlavní město Prahu a její rezidenty a jejich následná analýza. Dále analyzuji vývoj návštěvnosti Prahy, makroekonomické ukazatele cestovního ruchu a nejnavštěvovanější turistické cíle hlavního města Prahy. Teoretická část vymezuje pojmy, které se vztahují ke zkoumanému tématu. Analytická část se zabývá analýzou jednotlivých faktorů a pojmů vysvětlených v teoretické části. Tato část analyzuje také návštěvnost Prahy. K analýze jednotlivých sociokulturních dopadů je využita metoda průzkumu ve formě dotazníkového šetření. V návrhové části jsou předneseny návrhy ke zmírnění negativních dopadů cestovního ruchu. V závěru je práce celkově shrnuta a odpovídá na položenou výzkumnou otázku.

Abstract:

This Bachelor's Dissertation is elaborated on the topic of „The impact of tourism on the socio-cultural environment in the selected destination“. Goal of this dissertation is to identify the most important social, etnic, cultural and economic impacts of tourism in capital city of Prague and its residents and subsequent analysis. In the dissertation I further analyse development of the number of Prague visitors, tourism’s macroeconomic indicators and the most visited tourist attractions of capital city of Prague. The theoretical part defines the concepts related to the topic under study. The analytical part deals with the analysis of individual factors and concepts explained in the theoretical part. This part also analyses the visitor numbers to Prague. To analyse the individual socio-cultural impacts, a survey method in the formo f a questionnaire survey is used. In the proposal part, proposals are made to mitigate the negative impacts of tourism. In the conclusion the paper is summarized and answers the research question.
