Tato práce je věnována tématu inteligence v obecnějším měřítku. Vedle historického pohledu na vývoj samotného pojmu a pojetí inteligence se snaží popsat kognitivní vývoj člověka, nejznámější teoretické koncepce inteligence a metody jejího měření, emocionální inteligenci spolu s alternativními modely spirituální a morální inteligence.
