Analysis of selected alternative theories of the firm in the bussiness environment

Abstract:

Diplomová práce pojednává o alternativních teoriích firmy. V rámci práce jsou vymezeny jednotlivé alternativní modely a nejvýznamnější myšlenky jejich představitelů. Praktická část práce se zaměřuje na aplikaci zvolených alternativních teorií v prostředí moderní firmy a zároveň zkoumá, jaké faktory mají vliv na chování a rozhodovací proces firmy. Práce propojuje teoretické závěry s praxí, zároveň vyjadřuje, jaké alternativní teorie je možné aplikovat na moderní firmu, a jaké naopak pro aplikaci na zvolenou firmu nejsou vhodné.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the alternative theories of the firm. The various alternative models and the most important ideas of their theorists are defined. The practical part of the thesis focuses on the application of the chosen alternative theories in the modern-day business environment, while examining what factors influencing the behavior and decision-making process of the firm. The work connects theoretical findings with practice, while expressing which alternative theories can be applied to a modern firm, and which, on the contrary, cannot be applied.
