Evaluation of the potential for silviculture of existing forest stands as structurally rich in the Javorník municipality (Hodonín District)

Abstract:

Cílem této práce je analyzovat hospodaření v lesních porostech v oblasti obce Javorník (okr. Hodonín). Ve vhodných porostech byly založeny zkusné plochy, které byly vyhodnoceny a použity jako vstupní data pro simulátor Sibyla. V tomto simulátoru byly simulovány 2 modely vývoje porostů. Prvním modelem bylo uvolňování cílových stromů s následnou těžbou stromů. Druhým modelem byl zvolen postup podle platného LHP, tedy probírky spolu s obnovou porostu pomocí clonných sečí. Výstupní data ze simulátoru byla použita pro zhodnocení vhodnosti zvolených zásahů. Ze dvou zmíněných modelů preferuji model cílových stromů a cílových tlouštěk (CS + CT), který je vhodnější z hlediska trvalé produkce, šetrnějších přístupů k lesnímu ekosystému a vyšší hodnotě porostu.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the forest stand management in the area of Javorník village (Hodonín district). Sample plots were established in suitable stands. Stands were evaluated and data were used as input for the Sibyla simulator. Two models of crop development were simulated in this simulator. The first model was the release of target trees with subsequent tree harvesting. The second model was the approach of the owner, ie thinning together with regeneration under shelterwood. Simulator output data were used to evaluate the suitability of selected interventions. Of the two models is better the model of target trees and target thicknesses. This is more appropriate in terms of permanent production, more environmentally friendly approaches to the forest ecosystem and higher forest production.
